abstract
this paper examines the emotional weight of not knowing how one is perceived, remembered, or internally carried by another person. it begins from a private but persistent question: how much of me exists in you? the inquiry considers the instability produced when one person thinks intensely about another while remaining uncertain whether that attention is returned, mirrored, or even faintly present. through an introspective and interpretive framework, the paper treats devotion,moodfluctuation,embodieduncertainty,imaginedevidence, andrepeated mental return as data. it asks whether being thought of can ever be measured with certainty, or whether the desire to know another person's mind is, by nature, a form of hope.
